Sale Day

Our sleigh sold today at the Waverly Horse Auction. We worried that we would not get our money out of it. It cost $800 to restore. When the auctioneer actually came to the sleigh, he made the remark that it was one of the best restoration jobs he had ever seen. He started the bidding at $1,000.00. It took! It went fast and furious after that. We sold our sleigh for $2,200.00. So exciting. I am still walking on the ceiling.
